“Healthy Me” Field Trip Itinerary, Group Rotation,
and What You Need to Bring/Wear
REMINDER: “Field Trip Fridays” are regular school days. Students need to arrive at the normal time, and will be dismissed at the normal time (7:45 - 3:30).
Itinerary
7:45 - 8:00 - Students arrive at school as normal
8:00 - Field trip preparation, group instructions, bathroom break, snack break
*We will be dropped off at Compassion Family Dentistry, and we will meet there again after the 10:50AM rotation ends
8:30 - Load up bus, 8:35 depart
8:50 - Get into groups and head to businesses. (Students will be in three groups and will spend 30 minutes at each business. There will be a 10 minute transition time in between each rotation where students will walk to the next business in their group.)
9:00 - 10:50 - Students rotate through businesses: Eye Clinic of Milwaukie, Compassion Family Dentistry, Stark Tae Kwon Do
10:50 - Healthy snack provided by Mrs. Varis
11:00 - Walk to Ledding Library
11:15 - Ledding Library story time and tour
12:00 - Load up bus and head to CHPCS for lunch and recess. CHAPERONS DISMISSED AT THIS TIME
12:15 - Lunch and recess
1:00 - 3:20 - Reflection class book, human body activities, afternoon snack and recess
3:25 - Dismissal

What your student (and you if you’re a chaperon) need to bring/wear:
- Regular uniform (field trip shirt optional)
- Winter clothing (warm waterproof jacket, scarf, gloves, hat) because we will be walking from one business to the next
- Comfortable, sturdy shoes for walking
- A non-leaking water bottle filled with water
- Packed lunch and (optional) afternoon snack
