Wrapping Up and Reminders

Hello First Grade Falcon Families,

There are only a few days left for me to enjoy your fabulous first graders as they will soon be considered second graders.  This has been a wonderful year with a fantastic class and I will miss seeing them every day.  Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for sharing them with me.

Please read below for our reminders and our schedule for the next few days.

Wrapping Up
For the next few days we will be wrapping up with a few math lessons, assessments, preparations for our living things presentations and parade, reflections, peer encouragement, and classroom cleaning.  Look forward to many things coming home including summer homework.

Field Trip to the Portland Aquarium
We’re going to the Portland Aquarium tomorrow at 12:00PM!  We’ll leave CHPCS right after lunch at 11:45AM and go exploring at the closest thing to an ocean we have in our area.

Chaperons - We will meet you in the front of the school at the bus as soon as we can make it down the hall after lunch and recess.  Please arrive by 11:45AM and be ready to keep a close eye on a group of 6-8 students with your chaperon partner.  If you have a read shirt or top that you can wear please do so that the students will have an easier time recognizing and locating you.

Living Things Presentations and Parade
REMINDER - Students need to have their living things costume ready to wear over their uniform or bring with them to school this Thursday, May 30th.  Further details are still available on the right sidebar of this blog.

Thank you for reading,

Mrs. Varis
